While Dean had noticed that some agencies had adopted a new business model whereby they charged a fixed fee for their services, which was typically less than the standard commission rates, he had also noticed that this typically went hand in hand with less personal contact and professional advice.
Based on his experience in property sales, Dean knew that this was not in the best interest of property sellers and buyers as it exposed them to some of the many potential pitfalls that may arise from a property sale.
In founding Nu Generation Homes, Dean decided that he would combine new generation marketing and fixed-fee selling with the professional service, astute advise and personal contact that are the hallmarks of traditional estate agencies.
Nu Generation Homes combines fixed-fee selling and online marketing with traditional showings, negotiating and selling homes at the best possible price!

Dean has a passion for property and a keen interest in people. His professional manner, outgoing nature and strong commitment to the profession are key characteristics that enable him to forge long-term relationships with his clients. He:
- is a MPRE full status principal agent – Master Practitioner in Real Estate,
- holds a Valid FFC with the Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB),
- member of IEASA with the designation MIEA,
- has earned a B. Accounting degree with the University of Stellenbosch and a Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Accounting Sciences through UNISA.
